An introduction...

I'm a certified yoga teacher, a dog dad, an ambitious learner, and a recovering perfectionist with a B.S. in Psychology and both a B.M. and an M.M in Music.

I help busy, high achieving people improve their strength, flexibility and overall fitness through mindful movement (and probably a little sweat). Flowing with me will give you the mental escape you've been waiting for all day.

Whether you are a gym junkie, a spin superstar, a HIIT machine, or a total newbie, I'll give you a better way to ignite your body and mind - through the powerful trifecta of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, you'll savor the present moment and become the best version of YOU.

I came to yoga teaching after a fulfilling career as a professional opera singer. I was already a long-time yoga practitioner when I started teaching in 2018, and as both a student and a teacher, I found that yoga helped me to find more mental fortitude while also becoming stronger in my body.

Initially I found yoga when I was looking for a strong physical practice that would give me a workout, but more important, a "brain vacation" for my anxious, neurotic, grad-school self. I quickly found that through yoga, specifically vinyasa flow, I was able to get out of my thoughts, into my body, and become powerfully present. For years after grad school, it nurtured my career as a professional opera singer, while I navigated the demands of constant travel, loneliness, and striving to have a flawless voice and perfect career.

After a long run in the fulfilling-yet-challenging professional singing world, I decided to shift gears and become a yoga teacher. I've not looked back since, and I revel in the fact that yoga allows me to be my most authentic, non-perfect self.

The yoga practice that I teach combines the best of all possible worlds: the physicality and athleticism of a strong, breath-focused vinyasa flow, along with the powerful mental benefits of mindfulness and introspection.

I continue to study with Jason Crandell, with whom I trained for my 500-hour certification

I am dedicated to empowering you with the ability to improve your fitness and to find mental resilience both on and off the mat.  Come to feel better in your body, stay to feel better in your mind!
